Technical Advisory Committee
The Technical Advisory Committee is a new “entity” consisting of elected SEA Change members. Technical Advisory Committee members focus on practical elements of work related to the Community of Practice.
The work of the Technical Advisory Committee members currently focuses on the development of specific knowledge materials on topics that were identified as being knowledge needs among the SEA Change member base during a knowledge needs assessment in March 2013. Future practical elements of work could focus on Technical Working Groups – possibly being developed to further transform climate change M&E knowledge into publicly accessible knowledge materials – support in developing specific publication and knowledge materials, the peer-reviewing of knowledge materials and support in the management of Technical Working Groups.
The Technical Advisory Committee is designed to:
Give guidance on technical and content matter on monitoring and evaluation related topics
Give guidance on technical and content matter on climate change related topics
Advise and assist in matters related to the development of knowledge materials
Support the management of Technical Working Groups in development of knowledge materials
Support the development of knowledge materials by means of peer-reviewing materials developed
Convene at least once every two months, or more often if needed, and meet annually at a face-to-face meeting
